Laa Laa Laaaaaaa !!

I can’t stop singing to my post’s song today. A Greek summer song that reminds me of the wonderful endless summers of my teen years.

Awww…….one of those summer nights that you remember on a cold winter day at the office helping you get through the season until the next summer comes! Tonight was that night! You can’t have a proper summer without a night swim! And night swims call for one piece swimsuit.

This green floral one piece is an oldie from H&M but I still love it!  What I love the most about it is that from the front it almost looks like a high waisted bikini and from the back it looks like one piece. I also love the exotic color which looks so good on tanned skin.

One of my favorite color combinations is green and blue! I love the contrast of these two intense colors that scream “summer”. And since we were going for a walk downtown after the swim, I combined it with my blue handmade tassel earrings, wrapped my beige cardigan and voila! Ready for an ice cream walk!

The girl in the little black dress

Hi sweeties!

Today is all about the LBD (Little Black Dress)

The little black dress is…well…the little black dress. No special introduction needed. We all have one. We’ve always had one! We will always have one! It never goes out of fashion and we thank God for that because it is a life saver! It’s the most basic item your closet should have!

Do you want to go casual? Wear the LBD with sneakers.

Do you want to go smart casual? Wear the LBD with wedges.

Do you want to go formal? Wear the LBD with heels.

Black is my happy color! And I absolutely looove black on tanned skin. Summer is not just about colors! You can pull off the ”all black summer look” too.

For tonight (it was a special night!) I wore my sheer black dress with wedges and my favorite huge earrings from Ioanna Kodjapashi!

TIP: The little black dress should always be in a simple line. You can compensate with accessories and jewels!

High waist please

Ladies, it's a fact! Salty hair don't care! And that's the magic of Summer (which by the way is going by quickly making me nervous..). What do you mean that summer will come to an end eventually? I refuse to accept that! Ok, so it's August and I'm sure we have all started thinking that Fall is approaching (no way! I go to the beach until late November!!). But inevitably we have this sad feeling that sooner or later it will come to an end indeed...leaving us with a bitter sweet feeling of memories we didn't even realize we were making because we were just having fun...
But hey!! We have a long way until then so I suggest we focus on how to make those memories unforgettable! And since bikinis are like fries (you can't just have one), in my summer book, this day will be marked as "The day I wore that blue cloudy one..."

Inspired by the vintage swimmers and the pin up girls in the 40's , this high-waist blue bikini  made me feel fantastic!This style is flattering for most body types and it's an interesting alternative to the classic bikini bottoms!
