Fringes

Hello ladies!

In today’s post I am wearing one of my favorite pieces of the season! A maxi cotton fringe dresses in cream color. It’s one of those dresses I fell in love with instantly. The cotton fringe at the bottom makes all the difference and turns a super simple cotton dress into a very special piece.
Again, as mentioned many times before on this blog, versatile clothes are value for money. Equally impressive worn with flat summer sandals, smart casual wedges or more formal heels.
Also, the color (off-white) is one of the season’s trends (along with all earth colors).

I accessorized with my currently favorite type of material (raffia and wedges).

Enjoy!

Itsy bitsy teenie weenie dress

Hey there!

I have a question for my fellow Cypriots please cause I’m kind of lost here! What season is it? Is it Summer? Is it Fall? Spring maybe? I surely hope it’s Summer cause I have already put away all my winter clothes and my closet is now ready to welcome the unbearable but much missed summer of the island!

Having said all the above, I have to admit that the last couple of days’ weather was convenient cause it gave me the perfect excuse to wear my new itsy bitsy teenie weenie black dress(?). Did you notice the question mark next to the word “dress”? Ok…so I saw this long shirt/ short dress (take your pick) in H&M and since I couldn’t decide whether I wanted it as a dress or a shirt, I thought to ask my husband. I was positive he would go for the long shirt but surprisingly his reaction to “Hey babe, do you like this dress?” was not what I expected. He casually said “Yeap, it is nice babe” instead of "WHAT dress?". Since I could get HIM to see it as a dress, I can get away with it.!!

I just love long sleeve mini dresses and the linen material of this particular one is the perfect combo for the season. And as you know I love clothes that are convertible and easy to wear. This one, besides the dress role, it will serve its purpose as a shirt as well (with shorts or skirts). Plus, I can wear it as a kimono style top or even a beach cover. Voila, value for money ;-)
