Hey you!!!
I hope you
are all well and safe!! Boy, were the last 2-something months intense or what??
This whole
pandemic thing was a life-changing experience! We surely did not see this
coming (how could we anyway?). Suddenly our freedom and quality of life were
(or still are) at stake. Life as we knew it has changed. And I can only hope
that soon we will be able to put this behind us and continue where we left off.
Or start over on better terms.
But even
when all this is just a distant memory, will we ever forget that feeling? What
feeling was that exactly? Fear? Confusion? Uncertainty? Loneliness? Or an opportunity to
take a break and see things clearly?
Unless you
lost someone you loved to Covid-19 (hope you didn’t), you can turn this whole
experience into a positive one. Luckily I managed to do that and I’m glad this
is leaving me a bittersweet memory… During quarantine I had the time to enjoy
my family, to spend time doing thing things we were always postponing and had
the “luxury” to just sit back and see life for what it really is. A short
journey with a handful (if you are lucky) people that matter. It made me
appreciate the little things we take for granted. As corny as it might sound, it
changed my feelings about what’s important and what’s not.
Hold on
though….We are not off the hook yet. But
we are getting there.
In the
meantime, let’s continue to do the things we love with the same passion. Perhaps
even more…
I’ve said
enough though. Today’s blog is about the military look. Nothing new. A “trend”
that survives through time because of its simplicity of materials and laid back
nature.
A jumpsuit
purchased at my favorite neighborhood ever. Le Marais Paris. Second hand,
re-loved and re-styled.
Stay safe
and keep doing what you love!
