Denim skirt- white shirt combo

Morning dolls!

I started writing this blog last night but I was sooo tired I could barely type! So here I am today fresh and rested (as fresh as a mom who wakes up 2-3 times every night can be!!).

So my inspiration for today’s post is a wardrobe essential, the jean skirt! I have at least 15 of them. In all shades, lengths, styles! I just love them! They are like a canvas cause you can play with so many combinations! Plus, they are suitable for all seasons!!

Today I chose a breezy combination with another classic piece, the white shirt! I styled my outfit with my newly fave shoes in bright pink since it’s the color of the summer (along with other candy-colors!) and my straw fedora hat. For an everyday look I would wear it with my sneakers and untucked shirt.

Exotic safari!

Good morning dolls!!

Yesterday I was thinking about vacation. Actually I’ve been thinking about vacation for quite some time now! (Who doesn’t right??) . And although I was imagining myself lying on a beach (preferably on a Greek island), I got inspired about a more exotic-safari kind of look!

I never say never to anything regarding fashion (ok, maybe just a couple of things that I do not want to mention in case I change my mind in the future!). But one of my steady favorites is always the neutral/natural look! I loooove beige/khaki/ earthy colors! Always have and always will!! This look makes me feel so adventurous and tuned in with earth!

As for the head scarf, it became my signature!! I absolutely love them!! Not just because they look stylish but also because it’s a super easy solution when you really don’t know what to do with your hair! Especially on vacation (I can’t bother with hair styling), this is the perfect accessory! Cool, effortless and super easy! Not to mention the endless ways to wear it!

I always like to mix different shades of earthy colors and as I have mentioned in many of my posts, I love accessorizing with gold-ish pieces. Especially on a tanned skin (I need some work there!).

Don't worry, be purple!

Good evening ladies! (It’s 11.08 pm as I am posting on the blog, which means that hubby is fed, baby had his bath, had his milk and he is sleeping safe and sound and mama made her coffee and had the time to relax and deal with her blog!).

So now that everyone is happy let me tell you about lilac! Or should I say purple? Or violet? Mauve perhaps?? Never really managed to tell the difference. I suppose it’s in the intensity of the shade? Whatever the case, it was never one of my favorite colors. I thought it was the color of grieve and sadness. But that was until last year. As it happened with many things, I changed my mind and it slowly grew on me! That’s why you should never say never about anything. People and opinions change. So does our taste in many things. Keep an open mind cause you never know!!
