Italian Christmas!!!

2 of my favorite things in one!! Italy and Christmas time!! My blog friends know my love for Italy by now… What you probably didn’t know yet, is my love for Christmas too! So you can guess how happy I am to be in Italy during Christmas!
Rome is one of my favorite destinations! I’ve been there countless times but I keep going back again and again….

This time it was even more beautiful… With the Christmas decoration and lights! La citta eterna (The eternal city!).

With the cable streets all over the city it’s almost impossible to walk around in heels! Unless you are well trained…like me! I can easily walk for hours in my heels around the little stone streets. I guess after all those times I’ve been there, I am becoming one of them!!

Enjoy the Christmas song and let me take you there with me…

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Color and stripes

Stripes stripes stripes!

We love stripes! But we should keep some rules in mind when wearing them!
Vertical or horizontal?? Hmm…Well, we all know that horizontal stripes make us look wider than we actually are, so if you go horizontal make sure that you have a slim silhouette because it will surely add some centimeters to your hips!

Vertical stripes on the other hand, make us look taller. So if you are…..vertically challenged you can go for it!

And who said we can’t wear bright colors in winter?

La vie en...blue

Ok, you know that I am a vintage lover. I mentioned it in my blog many times. So this is one more of my vintage buys! I got this dress from an amazing vintage shop in Berlin.
The thing with vintage shops is that they have some amazing pieces but since they only have one of each piece, you must be very lucky to find one which is the right size for you.  And the fact that almost none of the vintage shops have a changing room, you have to risk it! There were many times when I bought clothes without trying them on and most of them fit well luckily. But even if they don’t, I have my very beloved seamstress ( hello Ms. Argyroulla!) who transforms my clothes!

When I took her this dress it was huge and rather baggy but as usual she did her magic…
