WAREHOUSE F/W 2016/17 COLLECTION PRESENTATION

Hello sweethearts!

I recently attended the presentation of the new WAREHOUSE collection for F/W 2016/17 which was held at 1010 Hall and I would like to share with you their new proposals because I know you will love them! I surely did!

Their new proposals are about the modern city woman and it combines a variety of fabrics such as velvet, glamorous shiny fabrics, knitwear and psychedelic prints! So many styles to choose from and so beautifully presented by gorgeous models!

The new collection consists of beautiful pieces that are so versatile and adaptable to each woman’s personal style that you can create so many individual looks.

I loved the quality of the fabrics! So stylish and elegant!

Another thing I loved about the collection is that you can find clothes for all occasions and that they are so adaptable you can combine them in numerous ways. And this is something that I look for in my outfits. I look for “street style” pieces that I will be able to combine in such ways that I can wear them from day to evening!

You can find the WAREHOUSE collection exclusively at Debenhams  in Nicosia.Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos

Polka dots

Hello again my lovely girls!

Polka dots for you today! The print that our mothers and grandmothers used to drape us in when we were kids. And which we probably hated! Like so many other things that we used to hate as kids but loved as grown ups!

Ok, it might not be the easiest pattern to wear ( it adds on your figure) but it remains a classic Italian-style pattern and that does it for me! Of course there are many versions of polka dot clothes so you have to be a little careful if you don’t want a “cheesy” result!

Sophia Loren is one of my idols and she was nailing the polka dots. She was all about the elegant polka dot midi dresses and high waist trousers with polka dot shirts!
The key to wearing polka dots (without the risk of looking like you are stuck in your 10-year-old self) is to take them from their retro setting into today’s, adding your own touch to it.

Today I tried my version in a short, shirt-like dress in one of my favorite colors, the burgundy. I combined it with my suede ankle boots (ankle boots are making a huge comeback this winter) and I walked the streets of my beloved Florence in confidence!!!

Gypsy meets Italian

Ciao pambole! (hello dolls!!)

Today’s post must be one of my favorites! It combines two styles that I love. The Gypsy and the Italian style. How can these 2 styles be combined? But of course with the more glamorous version of the kaftan dress. The all time classic kaftan dress is primarily loose, free-flowing robe that appeals to all tastes as it is simple and adaptable with an exotic gypsy touch!

Usually we associate this garment with summer but there are so many versions that they can be appropriate for cooler weather as well.

I got this black kaftan-dress from my latest trip to Mykonos and I knew that it was one of those pieces in my wardrobe that I would wear to death! First of all it’s black, which automatically gave me ideas on how to wear it in cooler weather (ideal for our fall weather in Cyprus). Secondly, the minute I tried it on I fell in love with the free-flowing fabric that was so comfortable.

Today, since I was in Italy, I decided to give it a touch of glamour by compensating with my “tango” style heels and my new handmade clutch bag.

And of course as a “color combination lover”, I matched my coral heels with blue earrings and my ethnic style bag.
Remember, there are no real rules in dressing if it makes you feel good…
