The Spanish

Hola amigos,

The Spanish-inspired fashion had always been one of my favorites! Weather it is ruffles, matador hats or flamenco heeled shoes, the Spanish culture is always hot!
I find the flamenco ruffled skirts to be very sexy and inspiring. The Spanish temperament was always attractive and made many appearances on the runway. I believe is one of the classic trends that never fade. It just changes slightly through the years among the designers.

Every now and then I tap Spain for inspiration too and what’s more Spanish than the ruffle flamenco skirt in this 2 pattern color combination?

Combine with tops in simple lines and accessorize with no fear! Spanish women love chunky earrings and necklaces so don’t be shy! (Just make sure you don’t wear everything at once)!

The African hair tie

Hey beauties!

Looking back at most of my summer posts, I realized how much I like the African style hair ties. I surely wear them a lot!
In Africa they use the word “doek” , in Ghana and Zimbabwe they call it "duku", in Botswana “tukwi” and in Nigeria “gele” (thank you wikipedia!). Well, I just call it hair tie and believe me… it is super convenient for the beach when your hair is unruly or if you just want to look stylish at the beach (and not only at the beach. I wear them on summer nights with big earrings and loose dresses).
Personally I like the long ones that can be wrapped around your head many times and that you can tie big bows at the front.
For today’s post, I wore mine with my one-piece color block swimsuit in black and white.

Ps. Summer is still here so get one too and start finding ways to wrap it! There are so many styles you can create!

Floral

Hello flowers!

I love floral! Half of my summer dresses are floral and I still can’t get enough! And since I’ve always loved that pattern, why not a floral bikini this time?  We all have one, whether is a bikini top, bottom or set!
Floral is a pattern that is always in fashion, especially in summer (but not exclusively! There are many winter floral patterns as well)!

It is playful, happy, fun and glamour with a bit of 1980’s style! And you can easily match it with any other color you want. You can even mix 2 different floral patterns. Whatever looks good in your eyes is good for your soul!

Bisous!
