Today’s post is dedicated to the absolute must-have piece of the season! The over-the-knee -boots. I have to say that I’ve always loved them and they were in and out of fashion sever times. However they made a comeback in their more glamorous version! Not only they cover big part of the leg, they are super high heeled and in my case, they are also lace-up! Too much? Nah…. Not if you wear them with a casual knitted poncho or a sweater dress to balance it out!
Ok, so we are not 6 feet tall but this shouldn’t stop us from wearing them! As long as you are not super shortie J because it will cover the whole leg and will leave you looking a little weird.
I prefer the neutral colors because dark colors may make your legs look shorter so go for beige or grey ones.
Since the boots are a statement piece, try not to wear something too “dressy” with them. Go for casual style knitwear like this poncho I got from Zara’s new collection. Or loose shirt-dresses and casual coats.
